In all these years even Cosmo hasn’t come up with this (it will be worth the wait when they do though).

I found a great site that provides a run-down of good hosting providers including free providers. The site is definitely worth checking out if you require a good host and don’t know who to turn to for that.

It is pretty obvious that online dating has changed the way people meet, fall in love and break up.  And in true internet style, there are dating sites tailored to both broad and specific interests.  Website hosting companies far and wide watch anxiously for these sites to come along because it always means lots of potential for outrageous volume charges.  We will look at some of the more specific and odd sites here.  Just for fun.

Vintage + Web = Cutting edge webdesign

Filed under: Uncategorized — tinostravelblog @ 12:41 pm

I am a travel nut, a vintage lover and a web enthusiast.  And because this is a travel blog, I have tried to keep away from posting non-travel items.  Ok, ok I have inserted a few weird things here and there that have nothing to do with travelling.  Today will be a bit different.  I am want to look at tech type stuff, and I found this great article on vintage web themes.
It seems so fresh, in an ironic sort of way, to have a wholly vintage website.  If it is done well, and consistently, the site can be a real hit.  If you plan on building a site, and are looking for a firm to do yourwebsite hosting, make sure they can support your design ideas.  Otherwise all your research and hard work is for nothing.  Anyway, take a look at these pages:

Style 4U

Pairing vintage-looking photos and details like gloves, old television sets and film strip image borders with a fresh color scheme, Italian site Style 4U marries an aged aesthetic with the latest in fashion.

CSS Tinderbox

With a look that’s more Soviet propaganda than 21st century web template source, CSS Tinderbox certainly stands out from all the other websites offering similar products, though their “frameworks for the web design proletariat” are more run-of-the-mill.
